NOTE of explanation:  This assignment was given to me in early August — 8/14/2024 is the date I started writing.  As is usual with my assignments, I am given information in bits and pieces, and I write in bits and pieces over periods of weeks and sometimes months. Much writing, rewriting, inserting, and removing occurs.  

Everywhere I went it seemed people were praising and uplifting their appointed earthly savior and taunting and belittling those who were not among the supporters of this savior.  They boldly named, without hesitation, ones they were convinced were causing all the problems – President Biden, leftists, liberals, democrats all of whom they called ‘evil’ . 

Knowing the importance of getting it right with God’s way and God’s time, I was having trouble writing this blog entry.  I had been given the topic – Puzzles put together on soggy ground/Oh, Say Can’t you see? — but that was it.  I knew, however, that if I waited for it, it would come.
